The OEM Royal Enfield Cush Rubber (Part No. 144471/A) is the rear wheel hub damper that sits between the sprocket carrier and the wheel hub. It absorbs drivetrain shock, reduces vibration, and protects your chain, sprockets, and gearbox from the stress of hard acceleration and deceleration. If you notice clunking from the rear wheel or excessive chain slack, worn cush rubbers are often the cause.
